We definitely picked the right day to hang out in the park yesterday, because today is far more grim, cool, moist and scented of rain. Today we’re hanging out indoors, keeping comfy.
Happy Sunday, friends! I received some good news this week; I’ll be getting my first print (and e-book) publication credit in an upcoming Spindles Anthology, a fairy tale collection. Hooray! Jack and I are celebrating with ice cream (for me) and blankets (for him).
The stuffed creature you see in the background is an Alot, handmade by a dear friend of mine (his first ever sewing project!). If you don’t know about the Alot, you should.
Hooray, it’s Sunday again, and that means more cute! We are greatly enjoying the warm weather and the cool breezes coming through the open windows. This time of year, Jack and I like to hang out on the balcony sometimes to watch the birds, squirrels, and children skittering about the back lanes, so Jack has to wear his collar, just in case. I present to you, enthusiastic Jack at his classiest:
Yes, I made the bow tie. No, it doesn’t bother him in the slightest. Have a lovely Sunday, friends and neighbours.
I hope you are having as beautiful a spring day as we are here in Montreal. The trees are finally in leaf, and it seems like a great day to take a book to the park and enjoy the outdoors. Choosing the wrong book may result in injury related to lasers and/or fire.
I hope the weather is as beautiful where you are as it is where I am. Finally, it’s warm enough to open all the windows wide. The breeze has shed the last of Winter’s sharp, bitter teeth, and Summer is on its way, at last.
Friends, it has been a very stressful week chez moi, and my attention and energy have been spread very thin. For this reason, I’m going to take the weekend off to relax and get my head back together. Don’t worry, though, you’ll still get your weekly dose of cute with the Sunday Jack! And perhaps some Bonus Jack along the way.
Have a great weekend everyone, and thanks for coming around! Back to your regularly scheduled commentary next week.
